Went to La Cité du Vin today. Security is tight. Any purse, bag or sac you are carrying gets searched. I was not carrying anything and I was asked if I was carrying any type of knife
It's 20 euros to enter and it gives you access to floor 0, 1, 2, 7 & 8. After walking floor 0 and 1, I thought, I spent 20 euros for what. Then when you hit 2nd floor you are given an audio device and everything on 2nd floor is interactive and very impressive.
7th floor has a restaurant and 8th floor has wine tasting and a panoramic view of the city. We spent 4 hours here and were very impressed,
