The Owl's Trail Dijon, France

If you want to discover Dijon's history and savor the charm of the former capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, you need to walk the Owl's Trail. The Owl's Trail application is available for Android and iPhones here: http://www.visitdijon.com/en/dijon_app_chouette_dijon.htm

There are 4 Owl Trails available to walk. We walked the longest one with 22 stops which is 3km and is listed as 1 hour. By the time we were done we walked 4km (2.4 miles) and it took us 2.5 hours, since you are going to stop and take pictures and look at things along the way.

At stop number 9 you encounter the Owl. It is said that if you rub it with your left hand (the hand closest to your heart and make a wish, your wish may come true.

The only problem you may discover is at stop 5, the covered market. The outside area of the covered market is loaded with vendors covering the Owl's Trail. The covered market itself is huge inside.

Here's a few photos I took along the Owl's Trail
