First we went to Ventimiglia, Italy. I got to close to the sea and under tow took one of my sandals. luckily it floated and came back to the shore. Then I discovered the sand was so round that it acted like ball bearing between my feet and the sandals and I couldn't keep my feet in my sandals and my feet and sandals had to dry out before we could go any farther. LOL!
